Hello All! I figured I’d post real quick before I headed to bed.
Today was a great day! I started it off with a math test that I thought was going to be hard, but actually was pretty easy. Then I went to my last two classes (Intro to Lit Discussion and Music Theory Drill). Each went pretty well. Cory picked me up after class and we went to Panera for lunch. I love the bread bowls there, but they’re so hard to eat! It was quite tasty, though. After lunch, we headed back to Cory’s place and hung out for a little bit. We then took a much needed two hour long nap. It was nice.
After the nap, we headed back to my house. We had a delicious dinner (Shirley, our cook, rocks!) The dessert was the best…it was like an oreo ice cream cake…mmmm!
Encounter was exceptionally good tonight. Daniela is back from Venezuela! She finally got her passport and VISA renewed. She just got back a few days ago, so I got to see her for the first time in over a month. I didn’t realize how much I missed her! Johnny and Zandra (the missionaries from Venezuela) were there as well tonight. They’re in the States for a few days and spent the day in B-town. It was great to get to see all of them. It made me really miss Venezuela! However, I did find out tonight that one or two of the kids I worked with down there are going to be coming to Bloomington and doing an internship with CSF! YAY!! I’m very excited about this! I miss them all soooo much! I can’t wait to go back! But yeah, Johnny helped lead worship, so that was awesome. We sang in Spanish! I love to worship in Spanish. After Encounter, I did some laundry and Cory and I went to Jiffy Treat to get some ice cream. Then I just worked on homework the rest of the evening…yay
This weekend is going to be great! Tomorrow, I get out of class at 10 and then Cory is picking me up and we are heading to Sullivan! It’s football homecoming at my old high school and it’s also my big sis’s birthday. I’ll spend the evening in Sullivan and then come back home late tomorrow night. Saturday, Cory and I are going to Melissa Kline’s wedding (yay!) and then we are heading to College Corner to spend the night at his parents’ house and go to church with them on Sunday. I am soooo excited about this! I can’t wait to meet his parents! I guess his mom’s excited about the service on Sunday because it is going to be a lot of music. Her band, or singing group, is singing. It should be lots of fun!
Well, I’m off to bed. I hope everyone is doing well!
BTW, I’m reading Beloved for my Intro to Lit class, but it’s a really good book. I highly recommend it!
Pat: see, isn’t this a boring post?? I need to post something deep and meaningful, not just a summary of my day. But, I guess if people are still reading it, it’s ok…
Some people read it, deep and meaningful or not…
No Kim, no it’s not. I read it and was riveted. I have no idea if I even remotely spelled that right. Besides, have you read most of the stuff that passes for “posts” on my page? Trust me, this is New York Times Best Seller material compared to that incoherent babbling. Kinda like right now.
