Yay for a new profile pic!
Today has been a great day! I had class from 8-12 and they all went surprisingly good. I had a written quiz and a performance evaluation in my Teaching Music in the Elementary School class, both of which I think I aced. The rest of my morning went well. Nothing too spectacular, just pleasant. After class, I came home and grabbed some lunch then headed over to Cory’s. This was the only bad part of my day. Not because I was at Cory’s (he’s great!) but because I had to study for a math midterm and the studying was not going well at all. After getting a little worked up and angry, throwing my math book across the room and screaming, Cory calmed me down and we decided to do a little Yoga. Nothing like some Yoga to calm you down. After Yoga, I studied some more and then headed home, showered, ate dinner, and headed to my midterm. My midterm went surprisingly good! I will be really surprised if I got anything lower than a B on it. Praise Jesus! I was so worried about this midterm and this class. Hopefully I’ll get a good grade on it.
After the midterm, I went to the bus stop and had a nice little conversation with Danny, some random guy I chit chatted with at the bus stop. I got home, talked to Katie and Ashley (old roommate Ashley) online for a few minutes and then I got a phone call. First off, I was like “Who is calling here, no one ever calls here.” I pick up the phone and here some guy say, “Well, I figured since your boyfriend as well as all my other friends are at the bar watching the ball game, I figured I’d give my good friend whom I haven’t talked to forever a call.” It was STEVE!!! I was so excited! I ended up talking to him for an hour or so. It was really nice to catch up and what not. We definitely need to organize a Spring Break ’05 trip to Texas!!
After talking to Steve, I hung out and talked to Jenny and am still currently talking to Jenny while I wait for Cory to come get me so that we can go to the radio show.
So yeah, it’s just been a really nice, pleasant day other than from about 2-7 when I was stressing over my test, but it’s over now so life is good! Granted, I didn’t get the homework done that I was planning on doing tonight, but I got to chit chat with some old friends, so it’s worth it!
Well, I’m off of here now. Time to get ready for the radio show. Tune into Bleeding in Audio on WIUS. Kirk (Cory’s lil’ bro) and his friend Mike run the show, with special appearances by me and Cory every now and then. Well, more just Cory rather than me…I’m a little radio shy. But anyway, it’s a fun show, so tune in!
Have a good night everyone!
Yay indeed for a beautious new profile pic! Texas for Spring Break is intriguing, but Rob and I may have different plans. Who knows, we don’t really have Spring Break per say anymore.
A little shy on the radio – ah the pain of nostalgia that that statement recalls. Reading your post is bittersweet sometimes! Ask Cory or Robbie about the “radio mime.” Hope all is well, blessings!
