First off, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for my dad and my family.

Dad’s doing pretty good.  Cory and I were up at the hospital till
about midnight last night.  Like I said yesterday, he had a heart
cath and 2 stents put in.  He was still having some chest pains
last night, but the doctor said that was normal.  They went ahead
and did an EKG, and it came back fine.  I talked to Mom just a
little bit ago, and she said that he’s still doing ok.  They did
another heart cath because he’s still having some pain, and the doctor
just wanted to make sure that there still wasn’t any blockage.
Everything came back fine.  The doctor thinks the pain is just
residual pain from the heart attack.  He said it could also be
from his acid reflux disease.  My dad has sever acid reflux, and
since he’s had to be flat on his back the past 24 hours or so, that
could be causing problems.  But all in all, the doctor said he’s
doing fine.  There was some minor damage to his heart from the
heart attack, but we’re not sure how much yet.  Right now he’s
just resting and will hopefully get to come home tomorrow.  Mom
said Dad’s biggest problem is that he’s just being a butt.  He’s
on a very strict diet (which he will continue to be on for quite a
while, which means he’s going to be super gripy), so he’s complaining
about that and just being a pain.  Mom said she’s been calling him
PITA.  (I’m assuming you all know what those four letters stand
for.

I’m getting ready to head up to Indy for a bit right now.  I’m
skipping my classes for the afternoon/evening so that I can see him for
a bit and still get home at a decent hour tonight.   I’ll try
posting again tonight or tomorrow to give you all another
update.   Please continue to pray for him.  I think the
healing/recovery is going to be the hardest part for him because so
much of his life is going to have to change because of this.  So
please just pray for him.  Pray for the fam as well because we’re
all still pretty shaken up about everything.

Thanks again, everyone.  I love you all!
