I love my friends….  But I hate it when they leave….

The gang had a night little get together last night to hang out with
Rob one last time before he headed to Texas.  It was a lot of
fun.  My friends are funny when they’re drunk…especially
Kirk…”I don’t want to be the bitchy neighbor, but…”. 
We had a good time.  Nothing like fitting about 12 of us in the
living room, having some drinks, playing guitar and singing, and just
laughing and having a great time.  I just love it when everyone
gets together.  We always have just a good time. 
Unfortunately, though, the night had to come to an end, and it was time
to part ways and say goodbye.  I gave Rob one last big hug and
started crying.  It’s so weird to think that he’s not going to be
around anymore.  I’m going to miss him coming home from the deli,
plopping on the couch with some Wendy’s or Taco Bell, grabbing the
remote, and (apparently not realizing that Cory and I are there and
watching something on TV) changes the channel.  Ahh…good times. 
Seriously though, ever since I came to Bloomington, Robby has been a
big brother to me.  I love him, and I’m going to miss him a
lot.  But Christmas isn’t too far away.

Now that I got the sappiness (is that a word??) out of the way….

I got a job!!!!!!!  and I actually like it, which is always good.  I’m working at Chipotle. 
It’s a burrito place on Kirkwood.  I really like it.  I’m
pretty sure it’s the easiest job EVER, which is good.  Cory’s
going to start working there, too.  He’s going in to talk to
Patrick (the GM) tonight to get scheduled for an orientation.  I’m
excited about him working there, it will be fun.  Even though
we’re never going to see each other since he’s going to be working days
and me nights, but it’s still fun.   He’s still planning on
working at Cracker Barrel a few nights a week, just not full time.

School is pretty much sucking right now.  I have a lot of papers,
tests, and projects due over the next few weeks, but it’s midterms so
it’s kinda expected.  I’m somewhat excited about one project that
I’m doing.  I have to give a report in my ed class over the debate
between evolutionism, creationism, and intelligent design and what
should be taught in schools.  It’s really interesting, and I had
no idea what a major topic this is right now.  There are a few
court cases going on right now over it, and a lot that have happened
just over the past few years.   So I’m not having an trouble
finding info; however, I think I’m finding too much info and I don’t
know what to do with it all.

Dad’s doing well.  He came home last Tuesday (the 4th).  I
talked to Mom the other day, and she said he’s doing well, he’s just
bored because he can’t to a lot.  He has to keep his work load
pretty easy for right now.

Well, I should pry myself away from the computer and do something
productive like exercise, homework, or put more stuff up on ebay so
that I’m not poor anymore.
