Hello friends!

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth after my vulnerability breakdown.  It did take a lot out of me and then a weekend filled with holiday travels lead to some away time from the old lappy.  But I’m back today, more joyful and grateful than ever.

I was able to go home for the Easter weekend and get some amazing time in with my family.  My mom and I shared lots of laughs and great talks, which gives this baby girl a happy happy heart.  I got to go to the Easter service at the church I grew up in and see some beautiful faces I haven’t seen in years.  It was so nice to catch up and share some smiles.  Then I made an impromptu visit to Indianapolis to see some dear friends, which made this already happy heart nearly explode!  My brother Mike and his wife Andrea have this AMAZING group of friends in Indy, and I’m so thankful I got to be there for their Easter dinner.  I topped the night off with a quick visit with my newly engaged friends Katie and Andrew for some much needed catch up time.  All around, a pretty kick-ass Easter if I do say so myself! 🙂

And today, the hubby is off from work, so I’m chillin on the couch writing and he’s got his guitar in his hand laying down some funky riffs.  (He’s just discovered Garage Band on the iPad and is having a heck of a time.)  Hello beautiful world! I love my life! 🙂
