While gliding along from job to job over the last two years, Dustin and I have spent a lot of time considering what it is we truly want to do with our lives.  Teach? Solar? Music? Business? Cuddle babies??

Through exploring all of these options, we’ve been able to dig deep and really figure out our souls’ callings.  We’ve realized that in the deepest desires of our heart, we both want the same thing – we want to be healers.

Yes, we want to heal people, in myriad ways.  Physically, mentally, spiritually, energetically.

All we’ve ever wanted is simply to do good and help people.  Throughout all of our ventures, that’s been our number one mission.  This comes naturally to us due to our intuitive nature and deep love for people.  It’s truly a God-given gift, and we’ve realized it’s time for us to use it.  We want to be light-workers – helping people achieve their true Divine potential.

So, to get this mission going, Dustin is starting massage school this spring!  He’s quickly excelling at his work at The Spa, and he’s being encouraged by everyone around him to become a massage therapist.  There’s a school here in Asheville that has a 6-month program, so by this time next year, he’ll potentially move up to massage therapist at the spa and even have the opportunity to take his own private clients.

We were discussing our plans with our dear friend, Deborah Hawkins (who’s also our bff David’s mom), and she was so encouraging.  She’s been a huge support since we met earlier this year, and I’m so grateful for all we’re going to learn from her.  While talking about Dustin’s potential to have his own clients and start his own practice, she said that she could see us working together with clients – one of us working physically or energetically, while the other is talking with the clients, coaching them through their various issues.  She suggested we both pursue Reiki certifications (something we were planning on doing in the future anyway) and was very excited to hear about how all this is falling into place.

We’ve always worked well together, so it’s just natural that our lives would go this direction.

No, this isn’t anything that’s going to happen overnight, but we know the more we focus on it and are grateful for it, the sooner it will get here.  We don’t know how it’s all going to happen.  Life will reveal that as it comes.  We’re just going to enjoy the ride knowing that we’re here to do a lot of good in the world and help a lot of people.
