I can sleep on my stomach again!!
That, I’m very excited about! So, I wen to see my family doctor
yesterday for a check up, and he said everything looks fine. He
took my bandages off and said the incisions looked fine. But, my
belly button is so deformed now.
It was this weid lieelt curve thing to it. I really can’t explain
what it looks like, but it’s weird. The doctor said it may go
back to normal or it may stay like that. Mom’s belly button
stayed weird after her surgery, so mine probably will to. Oh
well, I’d rather have a deformed belly button that a bunch of cysts in
me. Speaking of which…
I am so freakin’ confused as to what actually is/was wrong with
me! Originally, as I stated in my last post, Lueking (me surgeon)
told us that I had a cyst that had wrapped itself around my right ovary
and fallopian tube, but he was able to save the tube and the
ovary. BUT, according to Conwell (my family doctor), my right
fallopian tube was inflamed, filled with fluid, and infected. He
said that I didn’t have an ovarian cyst and that it was just my
tube. He also said that Lueking removed my right tube.
Then why did Lueking say he saved the tube and the ovary??? So,
everyone’s totally confused now. Conwell’s either misinformed, or
Lueking is retarded. I’ll find out which on Thursday when I go
see Lueking.
Either way, I’m feeling a lot better. I can stand up straight,
bend all the way over, and sleep on my stomach, so that’s all
good. It does kinda worry me a little bit if I don’t have a right
tube, though. I can still get pregnant, but I have to be really
careful and cautious so that nothing happens to my left tube. I’m
just afraid that I’m going to be totally paranoid now. But
hopefully my left tube will stay perfectly healthy until I’m all done
with having babies.
Other than all the recovery stuff, not a lot is going on. This
past weekend was a lot of fun. Sarah and Brooke stayed the night
Friday, and we had some much needed girl time. My sister is
getting remarried on August 13th (!!!!), so we’ve been planning wedding
stuff like no other. Stacey bought her dress this past weekend,
and we’re still on the hunt for bridesmaid dresses. Everything’s
coming together nicely, though, so that’s good. The only bad
thing about planning Stacey’s wedding is that it’s getting me impatient
about my own!!
Speaking of which, Cory and I celebrated our one year anniversary on Monday! ( I love you!) He’s coming down later on today and staying for a few days, so that will be fun as always.
Well, I was supposed to have a staff meeting this morning, but it was
cancelled, so I’m gonna be lazy and go back to bed for a little bit!
Glad to hear that you are feeling better!
Glad to hear all that sickness is getting better kid!
